High Intensity BA 2000 type A and B
Family :
Obstacle warning lights
Category :
High intensity beacons
High Intensity Light
triple luminous intensity
Description :
The BA2000 is a disblocked beacon with the Strobe technology.
This high intensity system is dedicated to a day, twilight ad night white flash beaconing.
The BA2000 is provided with its head light, based on its adaptable mounting frame and one driving box.
Moreover, for a complete project, it is very easy to synchronize several strobe together, by cable, Optical Fiber, GPS or TCP/IP.
- synchronization by LAN connection TCP/IP, optical fiber or GPS
- control of the system from the ground
- long lifetime > 4 years
- lightning protection integrated in the driving box
Application : High intensity lights type A are recommended for the beaconing of obstacles higher than 150 meters. Besides, high intensity systems type B are settled on high voltage line pylons.
Technical Advantages- Flashhead and control panel can be separated by up to 600 m
- BA 2000 does not need a separated and costly control panel to synchronize the flashes.
Only requires an interconnecting cable of 18 AWG (no high amps)
Control PanelThe control panel of our high intensity strobe light is designed from the latest technology. The power controller contains the circuits that provide the energy to the flash head, control, and monitor the system functions. Importantly, all of the electronics are located at ground level. The power controller can be separated by up to 600 meters from the flash head. Therefore, the repair technician does not have to climb the tower and most of the maintenance can be done at ground level.
The panel used only 2 electronic boards :
- The high voltage and trigger board
Our high intensity strobe light system do not need an additional expensive control panel for:
- setting the photocell mode
- setting the timing of catenary’s wires flashes
- monitoring the status of the system
A state-of-the-art microprocessor controls the entire electronic system and makes the solid-state circuit configuration smaller and smarter. For example, a “watch dog” continuously checks the microprocessor and prevents the system from freezing.
The only installation settings to change would be to set a dipswitch in the case you have to mark the catenary’s wires. For daytime and nighttime, the flash rate is factory calibrated to the ICAO specification and will never require resetting. Simply changing the position of the switch on the control board can test the day and the night modes. See section II.4 Test day and night modes.
The control panel is protected from lightning with the use of fibreglass flash head enclosure and with a metal oxide varistor (M.O.V.) in the electronic circuit.
